As Vice President, Guy supports the team in managing operations in relation to our business partners and our various service providers. He supports the Chief Compliance Officer and works in collaboration with the other team members on various files.

 

Prior to joining AlphaFixe, Guy was a Senior Consultant at Normandin Beaudry. In 2013, Guy participated in the launch of IPSOL Capital: an independent portfolio manager offering multi-factor solutions to long-term investors. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer for Hydro-Quebec Pension Plan and Sr. Vice President, Global Equities at CIBC Global Asset Management. Guy is also a member of the Board of Directors of Retraite-Québec and chairs the Investment Policy Committee.

 

Guy holds a B.A. in Economics from the Université de Sherbrooke. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts Association (CAIA). He also holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance (CSA) from Université Laval.
